Final weeks countdown begins :-)

30 weeks this past Friday! Woo hoo! I can't believe how fast it is going. I have been blessed so far with no complications and minimal discomfort. Hopefully, I can finish the last 2 months that way. Avery's room is almost complete. A few more things on the wall and then a rocker/glider and we will be ready (at least in the nursery), we still dont have any neccesities like carseat, stroller, diapers, etc... but showers start soon so hopefully some of that will be taken care of.

We took our babymoon last weekend and it was fantastic! We went to Waynesville, NC (20 miles outside Asheville) and stayed in a bed and breakfast. It was so nice! I ate way more than I should have, but thats what vacation is for, right? :-) We drove down Friday and had planned to go see the waterfalls and do a little window shopping on Saturday, but woke up to rain. So we did it anyways! We window shopped downtown with our umbrella and then drove in the pouring rain to see one of the many waterfalls. It was pretty even standing in the pouring rain. The rain cleared that evening though and we had a wonderful dinner at an old inn. It was a great way to celebrate the upcoming arrival :-)

I feel like our world is revolving around Avery already. I have been reading some books on childbirth and they are challenging my long held views about labor. Josh and I are reading some more currently, but are pretty sure now that we are going the natural route. I am unsure of the specific relaxtion method we will choose. I am thinking it will be a combo of bradley and hypnobirthing. We are still doing our research though, so we will see. Any suggestions are welcome!

I also had maternity pictures taken yesterday and they were alot of fun minus the mosquitos that decided I was their dinner. Our photographer is Paula Abernathy. Her and her husband, Mat, are some of our good friends. She does great work and I would recommend her to anyone in the area. The proofs will be done this week, so I will share them when I can. I can't wait to see the finished product!

We have had an awesome weekend with good exercise and outdoors time thrown in! Hope everyone is having a great weekend as well! Enjoy the few pics from our trip and keep watching for maternity shoot pics sometime in the next week.
