Surprise!

First, I have to say this is my second post in two weeks. I am getting a little better :-) Last night we had a surprise 50th birthday party for my dad. It was alot of fun and he was very surprised! Alot of family were able to come and it was so good to see them.  I have some pictures I will share at the end.
We also helped Chad and Shana move into their new house yesterday. So excited for them! I say we, I really mean Josh helped move and I kept Callum occupied while everyone else moved furniture. I did get to do a little unpacking, which I love! I know I'm a dork, but it goes with the love of organizing.
Last weekend, I was able to see my great friend Steph! I miss her so much! We had a great girls night out and the most interesting dinner I can remember. It is crazy to think that I have been friends with her now for 14 years. I am blessed with my close girl friends, even when they are so far away! I'm already looking forward to her next visit. Hopefully to meet miss Avery :-)
On the baby front, we are a week away from our babymoon! It is coming at a good time. I have worn myself out at work the past two weeks and I am ready for some relaxing. We are 28 weeks now and officially into the third  trimester. It is crazy to think that in less than 3 months, we will get to meet Avery face to face! She is growing like crazy (making my belly button flatter by the day) and moves around everytime I lay down. She is in love with her daddy already too. Every time he talks to her or reads her a bedtime story she flips, kicks, and gets all worked up. What a blessing to be able to experience this. It is going by so fast and has been a wonderful journey so far!

  1. I love that Josh is reading to Avery -- and that she reacts! Wonderful!
