Summer has begun

Hello 90 degree weather! I'm not too thrilled about your arrival already, but I am trying to make the best of it with trips to the pool and early morning runs. If it gets much hotter though, we will be spending our summer inside. I love 70-75 degrees, so this 96 business today is pushing it. Anyways, recently our sweet little girl turned 19 months. I thought i should write a quick little update about it :)
  The past month has, of course, gone by way too fast. Avery has developed quite the independent attitude. This will serve her well in the future, but for now that strong will is trying her momma's patience some times. Even with this new development and some tantrums thrown in, she continues to bring joy to our lives every day.
Some new things she is enjoying include getting her boo-boos kissed and putting band aids on them. She enjoys playing with her fake hairdryer, brush, straightener and curling iron. She is a painful hairdresser though. She chases Tucker around trying to give him a new do and he gets so irritated but takes it. She has also really gotten into doing the hand motions for itsy-bitsy spider and pat-a-cake. Our favorite new play time includes having picnics and tea parties with all of her animals and babies lined up. She is so fun and a sweet mix of little prissy princess and play in the dirt tomboy. I'll update later with some more pictures of summer fun and Josh and I have our 10 year reunion tomorrow, so that will hopefully give me some fun times to write about :)
