18 months

Wow! 18 months is already here! I don't know what happened to all the time between when she was born and now, but it is going way too fast! My little love bug, Avery, is now 18 months and had a great check up yesterday. She is in the 64th percentile for height and weight. A far cry from the 6th percentile she was in when she was born :) She is now 24 pounds and 31.25 inches! This past month she has been very generous with unsolicited hugs and kisses. I melt every time she wraps those little arms around my neck to pull me in for a kiss or a big hug. She has learned "Ring around the Rosie" and wants to do it over and over again. To keep from throwing up from dizziness, we have modified it so that Josh and I aren't going in circles nonstop and Avery doesn't seem to mind at all ;). She continues her love of reading, loves to play in her play kitchen and loves to share her play food or drink with the fish, Tucker, airplanes, picture frames, etc.. Maybe she will enjoy cooking one day, unlike her momma and her grammy. We took her for 18 month pictures last weekend and boy was it a challenge. She would not stay still and refused to look at the camera. The few pictures we got of her looking were by bribery :) Hope you enjoy!
