Hello Spring! How did 2 months pass by without a blog update?! Life has obviously been busy since the New Year. We have been chasing our running, climbing, independent toddler. Avery is now 16, almost 17 months. The last two months she has grown in her indpendent nature :) She wants to walk everywhere, climb every stair, and feed herself every bite of food. She is very good at all of them. Some meals I dont have to do anything, but put her food on her tray and give her a spoon. She is mostly transitioned to one nap and sleeping until 8:30-9 most mornings. She wants to be outside every waking moment and will stand at the kitchen window watching birds if we can't go out. She has outgrown most of her 12 month clothes now and is about to be in size 4 diapers. Her hair has also grown down past her shoulders. A couple of her new things include jumping/bouncing in her crib, tip toeing, asking us to chase her, and making the cutest crinkly nose eye squinty smile when she does something she knows is wrong. It makes it so hard to discipline!
In our spare time, haha, we have been getting the townhouse ready to go on the market. Our hope is to sell it by the fall, so we can buy a house with a yard and garage. They are coming to take pictures of it tomorrow, so it should be on the market in the next week or two, so fingers crossed!
We leave for vacation in 9 days! We will spend 7 nights, 8 days in Destin, FL. I can't wait to get away and watch Avery play in the sand and the waves. I hope it is warm enough to get in the water, but if not we will play on the beach and at the parks the whole time. We are staying in a townhouse on the harbour with balconies that look out on the water. I can't wait to spend some sunny afternoon naptimes reading my book while looking out at the ocean. Vacation will be completely different now that Avery is mobile. Last beach vacation, she was just able to sit by herself and it was 100+ degrees. So we spent most of our time in the pool, but this year she is very mobile and it won't be so hot so we can spend more time in the sun without melting. This is going to be a blast!!! I'll post pictures when we get back :)
