Lately

The past few weekends have been pretty busy. Great but tiring! A few weeks ago, me, Ashley and Nichole (Stephanie's sister) threw a baby shower for Stephanie and Anthony. They were in town from Wakeforest, NC. I've known Stephanie now for 15 years, it was really great to celebrate this with her. Baby boy Fontaine will be well dressed and have lots of toys to play with thanks to the generous gifts of her family and friends. The day passed too quickly, but soon enough they will live here again!  I can't wait! I am excited to be able to raise our babies in the same city and hope that they become great friends too : )

We also celebrated Mother's Day a couple of weekends ago. This year Mother's Day was so much different! Not only did we celebrate and honor our moms and grandmothers, but I had my first Mothers day. It was a great day! I am so blessed to have Avery as a daughter; she is such a joy! We celebrated with our moms on different days, because we knew we would be spending a lot of the afternoon at Josh's grandmothers house for her 80th birthday and Mothers day. It was great to see that side of the family and celebrate Nanny! She has 4 daughters, 7 grandkids and 3 great grand kids. She is loved by many and loves them all so much in return! Once we got home, Josh took me shopping to get some summer clothes, since very few of my previous summer clothes fit right anymore. It was great to get out with him and enjoy some couple time. We even went to sushi for dinner! I can't wait to celebrate Fathers day for him and we will be on vacation which will make it all the better!!
