10 months

Time just keeps passing faster and faster. I have every intention of posting more than once a month, but here we are again a month later. Well miss Avery is now 10 months old! She had quite the month. She is now 19 pounds! A big 1 pound 4 ounce gain since her 9 month appointment. She finally got her first tooth on August 1 and the second one is creeping to the surface as I type this. I expect it to pop through in the next couple of days. She also decided she would stop going backwards and started to crawl forwards :) She is all over the place! It is so much fun to watch her explore and when she goes near things she knows are off limits, she will look at you to see if you are watching before she touches it. She loves to play with Tucker and chase him around the living room. They have a lot of fun together, although Tucker is very happy when Avery goes to bed and its quiet and he can lay on the floor without being attacked, haha. To go along with her new found mobility, she is pulling up on everything! She is very cautious to sit back down though, and then claps for herself when she makes it back to the ground. It is one of the cutest things I've ever seen. A close second is her giggling at her daddy, which of course is followed by the hiccups. I don't know if she has ever giggled without getting the hiccups. I would get frustrated with it, but she doesn't seem to mind. She is sitting in the regular bathtub now and loving it. She crawls around in it, splashes and bangs her toys against the sides. She also helps me dress her by holding out her arms and legs when its time for arm holes or leg holes. On the food front, she tried chicken, turkey, mangos, yogurt and grapes this past month. Her favorite foods so far though are still bananas and sweet potatoes. That was her month in a nut shell. She is such a blessing and I love her so much more than I could have ever dreamed possible.
