The Webb Family: What a month!

Hello! It's been a few weeks since my last post, but it has been one whirlwind of a month! Things have been going great and this pregnancy is flying by. June 23 we celebrated 4 years of marriage and also got to see our healthy little girl by ultrasound! She measured within a day of her Nov 5 due date and weighed in at a whopping 13oz. We have several ultrasound pictures that I will try to upload sometime soon. I have to get them scanned first. That following weekend we had a reveal party for our parents, siblings, and a few friends. It was alot of fun to see their faces! We had a name voting station set up for boy and girl names and our cupcakes were the revealing surprise. Everyone bit into them at the same time to see pink icing staring back at them. Since then we have been busy picking out a name and of course buying some cute pink things and dresses for next summer. We have the name narrowed down to 2, so I will let everyone know when it is final. The initials are going to be AEW either way. We also ordered our crib this week. I am so anxious for it to get here! I want to start making the room into a nursery. The same night we ordered our crib, I bought my first maternity shirt and Josh got to feel her move for the first time!
Little miss has taken up alot of our thoughts and is often the topic of conversation, but this past month we also went to St.Louis to see Lex and help her pack up her things. She is off to Germany for post-doctorate work for the next 1 to 3 years. It was super hot, but great to see her and meet some of her friends before we sent her off. Can't wait for her to be back for the holidays to see her sweet little neice!
This weekend is the 4th of July! To celebrate we continued the tradition started last year. We spent the day yesterday on the water with good friends and ended the night with great bbq, homemade veggies and cornbread. yum! The guys had a blast tubing and skiing, while us girls enjoyed just riding in the boat and laying out on the dock. Hope everyone is having a great holiday weekend!
