Avery is now 1/2 a year old! I can't believe it! She has grown so much in the last month and her personality is becoming more and more apparent every day. She is getting to be so fun! Her new things this month include loving Tucker and watching him and smiling at him all the time, talking crazy loud all the time, holding her breath when she is mad and wanting to drink from my cup and eat my food. She thinks she is grown!
This month we also started solids. So far she has eaten sweet potatoes, butternut squash, green beans, avocado, bananas, and apples. She loves them all! I think carrots and pears are on the menu this week. I have been making her food and it is very fun and easy.
At the doctor this past week, Avery weighed in at 15 pounds 13 ounces and is now 26 inches. That's 9 pounds 11 ounces and 7 inches since birth! She is in the 48th percentile for weight and 61% for length. The Dr is very happy with her and she is a healthy, growing baby :) We are very blessed!
Other fun happenings in the last month include going to visit with my dad and grandma. The first time we tried this Avery cried the whole time, but this time she was happy and played alot. We have also been to the zoo, the park many times, and even on a jog! It was also the month of birthdays. She helped to celebrate my birthday, Callum's and Dominic's first birthdays. We love our outside time and can't wait to get to the pool soon!
